I am not obvious on the last little bit of the sentence, "which just one would be the best". I believed it is similar to the clause in "I am going to protect what they are", the buy of object along with the verb is reversed (I forgot what the grammatical expression is), "which one particular will be the best" should as a substitute be anything like
